HISTORY OF CAR AFTER FIRST TEAM
Peerless Racing sold the Camaro to Buz McCall’s American Equipment Racing team. The car was sponsored by Skoal Bandit for the 1988 and 1989 IMSA GTO seasons. Drivers included Buz McCall, Jack Baldwin, David Hobbs, Tommy Kendall, Max Jones, and Eppie Weitz. The Camaro was run in the 24 hours of Daytona in 1988 and 89. Camaro chassis #861 was used as a show car by Buz in 1991 and 1992. It was painted to look like their Riley& Scott chassis 1991 Duracell Camaro. It sat in Buz’s shop until 1999, it was then restored by his Nascar Team. It was restored back to as run in 1987. The Levi-Garrett Camaro was sold to a Florida collector in 2000.  I purchased it in November of 2006.

CONDITION WHEN RETIRED (OR FOUND)
The car is restored.
