2nd, Laguna Seca 5th, 1982 Daytona 24 hr. ran as GTX finished 9th, Tullius
ran on shaved street tires for Sponsor Goodyear. The tires were Goodyear Gatorbacks,
he was clocked at 193 mph.
HISTORY OF THE CAR AFTER FIRST TEAM
Tullius ran 1st event of 1982 T/A, it was sold at the track to a collector.
Jaguar then moved onto the XJR-5 chassis. The car sat in a barn for the next
18 years until the owner passed away and the car was sold off by his wife.
Howard Turner, longtime Jaguar racer and President of SVRA bought the car
and refreshed it for Historic racing. In 2005 Canadian racers Andrew and Steve
Moore bought the car and have raced her in Canada and the United States in
Trans-am and IMSA Reunion races.
