The car did the January "Daytona 24hrs" test in 1996, then it was put in storage near Sebring until December 2009, when Mauro Borella (that raced the car twice in the Daytona 24hrs in 1994 and 1995) bought if from Kent Painter, the driver/owner of the car Borella was racing at the time. Car is currently under full restoration back to his last Daytona 24hrs livery at Gary Jones Motorsport race shop in Georgia.
